These professional appraisers prepare merger and acquisition studies employee stock ownership plan analysis, and other similar studies. Their work frequently is used in annual ESOP plan administration, estate and gift tax returns, buy-sell agreements, securities litigation, and matrimonial matters involving equitable distribution, including serving as expert witness in related litigation.
